Finding Us - Directions

Here's how to find us, coming from Limerick, Cork/Kerry, Dublin/Nenagh, or Waterford/Tipperary.

From Limerick City Centre

  • Come out along O'Connell Street and O'Connell Avenue. Go straight at the lights at Punches Cross. At the next set of lights, take a left onto Childers' Road.
  • At the next set of lights, take a right onto Greenfields Road. Drive straight along this road (over the speedbumps) until you see a narrow entrance between two houses on your right hand side, just before the last speedbump.

From Cork/Kerry (N21/N22)

  • Coming from Cork, follow the main N21 from Cork, through Mallow and Charleville, and bypassing Croom. Just before Patrickswell, you'll come to a flyover junction with another major road from Limerick to Kerry; cross the flyover and take the exit down onto this road, towards Limerick.  (Note, coming from Kerry, you'll already be on this road, having come through Adare.)
  • Stay on this road until you get to the exit signposted for Dooradoyle.
  • At the top of the off-ramp is a roundabout; take the second exit.
  • Follow this road, crossing a railway level crossing, until you come to speed-bumps. After going over the first speed-bump, the entrance to the CIAC is on your left (between two houses).

From Dublin/Nenagh (N7)

  • Follow the main N7 all the way from Dublin; as you approach Limerick you'll come to a roundabout. Take the second exit, onto a dual carriageway, signposted as Cork (and other destinations).
  • Stay on this dualcarriage way for about 5 miles, passing an exit for Waterford/Tipperary along the way.
  • At the end of this dual carriage way is a roundabout; take the first exit (a left), signposted as Cork.
  • You're now on another dual carriageway. Take the first exit off this road (about 1 mile), signposted as Dooradoyle.
  • At the top of the off-ramp is a roundabout; take the third exit (right hand turn), crossing the bridge over the road you just came off.
  • At the far side of the bridge is another roundabout; take the second exit (again a right hand turn).
  • Follow this road, crossing a railway level crossing, until you come to speed-bumps. After going over the first speed-bump, the entrance to the CIAC is on your left (between two houses).

From Waterford/Tipperary (N24)

  • Follow the N24 all the way from Waterford through Clonmel, Cahir, Tipperary, etc. As you approach Limerick, you'll see signs for Cork (left) and Dublin (right, at the far side of a flyover bridge). Take the left turn, towards Cork. The slip road will bring you down onto a dual carriageway.
  • Stay on this dual carriage way for about 1-2 miles.
